Completing your studies is a very exciting time and there are various celebrations that take place. Most of the schools and universities in Australia have graduation ceremonies for students completing their degrees.

Most universities tend to hold the formal graduation ceremonies 3-5 months after you finish your studies which sometimes makes it difficult for all international students to attend. To ensure that you still have a celebration ceremony, most large Universities will hold a Graduation Ceremony for international students at the end of each semester. 

These ceremonies are quite formal and exciting.  You will receive your degree there and it is open to friends and family to join you in the celebrations.

If you are not able to participate in the university wide graduation ceremony you will need to make some arrangements with your institutions to ensure that you receive all your graduation documents and testamur via mail/courier.
