There are a number of scholarship opportunities in Australia covering all study areas and study levels. The Australian Government provides a number of scholarships for international students wanting to study in Australia.
Scholarships are also available through each Australian university and often scholarships are available through scholarships bodies in various countries around the world.
Australian Government Scholarship programs
Australian Development ScholarshipsLevel of study: Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. Area of study: All areas however, fields of study are targeted to address agreed priority human resource and development needs of recipient countries, in line with Australia's bilateral aid program. Eligible countries include: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Fiji, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Kenya, Kiribati, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, New Caledonia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Timor Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Wallis and Fortuna, Zambia
Australian Leadership AwardsLevel of study: Masters or Doctorate degree (PhD) Area of study: Awards are open to all fields of study, however, study programs that relate to the priority themes of international trade, pandemics, security and climate change (including clean energy) are encouraged. Eligibility: They are intended for those who are already leaders or have the potential to assume leadership roles that can influence social and economic policy reform and development outcomes, both in their own countries and in the Asia-Pacific region.
Endeavour AwardsLevel of study: Postgraduate study/research for an Australian Masters degree or PhD and education in the Vocational Education and Training section which includes the following programs - Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree. Area of study: All study areas. Eligible countries include: Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Republic of (South), Laos PDR, Macau SAR, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam. International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)Level of study: Masters by research degree or Doctorate by research degree. Area of study: All research areas at all Australian Universities. Eligible countries include: Scholarships are open to international students of all countries (except New Zealand).

Australian Univerisity Scholarships
Each Australian University offers various scholarships for international students. Scholarships are available for study abroad programs, undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees.
