There are some particularly interesting findings in this year’s results, given this is the first full year of data collected under the Australian Government’s “Manage Growth” approach.
Peer Engagement: A good improvement among international undergraduate students.
Sense of Belonging: International students continue to report positive levels of belonging at their institutions. This is quite encouraging!
Living Experience: An impressive 93% of international students provided a positive response about their living experience in Australia. Wow!
These results remind us that, alongside the ongoing discussion about international student numbers, caps, and policy settings, the student experience remains a critical part of Australia’s international education story.
Congratulations to QILT for another great piece of research and for providing such valuable data on the experiences of students in Australia. 👏 👏
