Domestic fees Australia

After receiving requests from various Planning, Recruitment and Admissions Offices at Australian universities, we have developed a database to identify the domestic full-fee paying tuition fees published by Australian universities.

Pricing is one of the most important elements of the marketing mix and for the education sector, the topic of price represents a complex process. It involves a detailed understanding of student preferences and the position of other competitors in the marketplace.

Australian universities are experiencing a more competitive environment within Australian borders so there is a need to have a greater understanding of the pricing strategy implemented by competitors nationally and not only from a state or territory perspective.

This competitive environment and change in student preferences is creating the need for Australian universities to better understand the complete spectrum of pricing strategies across all universities and compare their position against all competitors as students are comparing not only universities in a particular city but nationally.

In Australia, more than 240,000 domestic students are enrolled in postgraduate programs every year.

For the second time, Studymove Pty Ltd has collected data relating to the postgraduate coursework tuition fees for Domestic full-fee paying students. Our analysis includes the domestic full-fee paying fees of more than 2,500 programs across 35 Australian Universities

The database contains a listing of all programs by Australian university and the 2019 and 2020 fees for full-fee paying domestic students.  INITIAL FINDINGS  icons8 idea 128

Collecting information on domestic fees was not an easy task. Several universities presented their data based on credit points instead of annual fees and in some cases, there was not an orderly format to inform domestic students about program fees.

However, we successfully obtained information of more than 2,500 postgraduate coursework domestic full-fee paying fees from 35 Australian Universities. Below we present some valuable initial findings for the programs in the areas of a) Management and Commerce, b) Engineering and c) Information Technology.
